Are my files uploaded to a server?

Why can't I select text after compressing?
To shrink the file, each page is saved as a compressed image. If you need selectable text, keep the original or use Light compression and keep both copies.
How do I make a PDF small enough for WhatsApp or a government portal?
Use Strong compression. Scanned documents usually shrink by 60–90%. If a portal needs a size like 200 KB, try Strong and check the result size shown.
